COURSE OBJECTIVES

The aim of the course “Stories and Novels in Post-2000 Turkish Literature” is to introduce students to stories and novels written after 2000.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES 

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

1. Learn about the stories and novels written in Turkey after 2000.
2. Get an idea about the social, political and cultural context in Turkey after 2000.
3. Learn to evaluate the works within the context in question.
4. He/she has the opportunity to see the Turkish novel and story in chronological integrity.
5. He/she has an idea about the subjects and concepts that occupy the Turkish writer's mind, based on texts that are related to each other.
