COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course "World History" aims to broaden students’ horizons and develop their knowledge and skills by exploring how the world we live in today was built, with a focus on major outlines, breaking points, and significant global events.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

1.    Be able to explain key historical concepts in world history.
2.    Be able to describe major historical developments in world history.
3.    Be able to analyze concepts such as colonization and imperialism.
4.    Be able to analyze the role of historical concepts and processes within broader political and socio-economic structures.
5.    Be able to explain the effects of developments in European and world history on the present.

Be able to draw conclusions from the roles of political leaders during crises and wars in modern world history.
